Children will be tested in spelling, creative writing, fun poetry, language appreciation, scrabble, comprehension and public speaking. The audience can also watch a demonstration by adults and children who will try to set a record by playing scrabble from 9 a.m. on the day the contests are set to begin.

Mr. Damaraj the club secretary will play with 26 players simultaneously with the aim of bettering the record set by Aseervadam of Malaysia, who played against 25 players in November.
