Thats the question recently asked by the Huffington post in an article about an extract from Sarah Palins memoirs.
The extract from the memoirs as below.
"Everybody in the family played Scrabble and took great pride in hoarding Ks and Qs and slapping them down in long, fancy words on triple-letter scores." -- Going Rogue, p. 12.
The question being asked as she used the plural for K's an Q's but there are only one of each in each set of tiles.
Personally i think she was just being loose with her English and it would have been better to write "hoarding the K and Q tiles" making the word tiles plural as she was referring to more than one tile.
Perhaps her editor should have done a better job.
